Recharge and Redemption Codes

Applicable role: Organization (top-level user) Last updated: 2026-07-09

In the new console, funds for all API calls come from the organization balance pool. This article explains how an organization tops up the balance pool—supporting both "online recharge" and "redemption code" methods—and covers payment methods, record queries, and frequently asked questions.

What gets topped up is the balance in the organization balance pool. For how to allocate the balance to sub-users (setting a quota cap), see Balance Management and Quota Allocation.

1. Core Concept: Top-ups Go into the "Organization Balance Pool"

Concept Description
Top-up entity The top-up applies to the organization (top-level user). Sub-users have no independent wallet and cannot see the top-up entry
Organization balance pool The single source of funds for the entire organization. Calls made by the organization itself and by sub-users all ultimately draw from this one pool
Two top-up methods Online recharge (Alipay / WeChat / Stripe) and redemption codes. The balance from both goes into the same organization balance pool
Method Applicable Scenario Crediting
Online recharge Pay online with Alipay, WeChat, or Stripe—buy and use immediately Credited automatically after successful payment
Redemption code You obtained a redemption code from the platform (promotional gift, offline purchase, granted, etc.) Credited immediately after entering the redemption code

Top-up terms are subject to what is actually displayed on the console "Redeem" page. RMB and balance are calculated at a 1:1 ratio, billing is based on actual usage, and prices are subject to what is displayed in the "Model Marketplace".

2. Prerequisites and Entry Points

Prerequisites

  • You are logged into the console as an Organization (top-level user)
  • Sub-users cannot top up, and top-up-related entries are invisible to them (sub-users have only 5 menu items)
  • Online recharge requires the platform to have enabled at least one payment method (Alipay / WeChat / Stripe / Airwallex, etc., subject to what is actually displayed on the Redeem page)
  • Redemption code top-up requires that you have obtained a valid "organization balance" type redemption code

Feature Entry Points

After the organization logs in, the top-up-related entries in the left navigation bar:

3. Method One: Online Recharge (Purchase)

Applicable to scenarios of instant top-up via Alipay, WeChat, or Stripe. After successful payment, the balance automatically enters the organization balance pool.

Steps

Step 1: Go to the Redeem Page

Left navigation bar → Redeem. The page contains two feature areas: online recharge and redemption code.

Step 2: Select a Package

The purchase area displays the available top-up packages, arranged as cards:

  • Click a package card to select it; the selected card will be highlighted
  • Each card displays: package name, price, corresponding balance, validity period, and limited-time offer (if any)
  • If you select the "custom amount" type, an amount input box will appear at the bottom of the page after selection, where you must manually enter the top-up amount

The specific package tiers, prices, and the upper and lower limits of the custom amount are subject to what is actually displayed on the page. If the page indicates "No packages available for purchase," please contact platform customer service.

Step 3: Select a Payment Method

After selecting a package, the available payment methods are displayed at the bottom of the page:

Payment Method Description
Alipay Scan the QR code and complete payment with the Alipay App
WeChat Pay Scan the QR code and complete payment with WeChat
Stripe Redirect to the Stripe-hosted page, supporting credit cards and other international payment methods

An option is only displayed when the platform has enabled the corresponding payment method. If the page indicates "No payment method available," please contact platform customer service.

Step 4: Click "Pay Now"

  • Alipay / WeChat Pay: A QR code dialog pops up. Please use the corresponding App to scan the code and complete payment within the valid period
  • Stripe: A waiting dialog pops up. Open the Stripe payment page in a new window, then return to the platform after completion

Step 5: Wait for Successful Payment

After payment is complete, the page automatically detects the payment status and pops up a "Payment Successful" notice, which displays the current latest organization balance. You can close it and return, or continue to initiate the next top-up.

⚠️ Orders and payment QR codes have a timeout mechanism. Orders that are not paid before timing out will automatically expire and cannot be paid, requiring a new order to be placed; no duplicate charges will occur. The specific timeout duration is subject to the actual prompt on the console.

Business Rules

  • The balance after online recharge enters the organization balance pool and is managed uniformly by the organization
  • The same order is handled idempotently and will not be credited twice
  • Order payment statuses include: pending payment, paid, payment failed, timed out, refunded, partially refunded, etc. (subject to the order records displayed on the "Balance Management" page)
  • Refunds are handled uniformly by the platform; the organization cannot refund on its own. For refunds, please contact platform customer service and provide the order number

4. Method Two: Redemption Code

Applicable to scenarios where you have obtained a redemption code from the platform (promotional reward, offline purchase, grant, etc.), completing the top-up by entering the redemption code.

Steps

Step 1: Go to the Redeem Page

Left navigation bar → Redeem.

Step 2: Enter the Redemption Code

The Redeem page typically contains:

  • Organization Balance Card: displays the current organization balance
  • Redemption Code Input Area: a redemption code input box + a Redeem Now button
  • About Redemption Codes: notes that redemption codes are provided by the platform, each can only be used once, and the top-up amount enters the organization balance pool, etc.

Paste or enter the complete redemption code in the input box and click Redeem Now.

Step 3: View the Redemption Result

  • Redemption successful: A success notice pops up, displaying the top-up amount for this transaction and the new balance, and the organization balance card refreshes accordingly
  • Redemption failed: A failure notice pops up, displaying the specific reason (see "Common Errors" below)

The redemption code page:

Redeem Page

Field Descriptions

Field Name Required Description Example
Redemption code Yes The complete string issued by the platform, case-sensitive ABC12345DEF6… (typically 16–32 characters)

Business Rules

  • Each redemption code can only be used once and becomes void immediately after successful redemption
  • The redemption code type must be the organization balance type; personal/other types of redemption codes cannot be used at this entry point
  • After successful redemption, the balance goes directly into the current organization's balance pool and is managed uniformly by the organization

Common Errors

Error Message Cause Solution
Invalid redemption code The redemption code does not exist, or the type does not match (e.g., not the organization balance type) Confirm with platform customer service that the code obtained is the "organization balance" type
Redemption code already used This redemption code has been redeemed previously Contact platform customer service to confirm or apply for a new redemption code

5. Viewing Top-up Records

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What should I do if the balance is not credited after a successful online recharge payment?

A: Please troubleshoot in order: ① Refresh the page and check the organization balance again after waiting 1–2 minutes; ② Go to "Balance Management" to check whether the order status is "Paid"; ③ If the order remains in "Pending Payment" for a long time, it may be a payment callback delay—please contact platform customer service for assistance; ④ If the order is "Payment Failed" or "Timed Out," please place a new order.

Q: After clicking online recharge, it shows "No packages available for purchase"?

A: This means no available top-up packages have been configured. Please contact platform customer service.

Q: The page indicates "No payment method available"?

A: This means no payment method has been enabled. Please contact platform customer service.

Q: The redemption code shows "Invalid"?

A: Common causes: ① The type is not "organization balance"; ② A typo (please copy and paste the complete redemption code, minding the case); ③ The redemption code has been deleted. Please contact platform customer service to confirm.

Q: Can a redemption code be used multiple times?

A: No. Each redemption code can only be used once and becomes void immediately after successful redemption.

Q: What should I do if the payment QR code has expired?

A: After the QR code expires, please click "Pay Now" again to generate a new QR code. The old order that has expired and remains unpaid will automatically become void, and no duplicate charges will occur.

Q: Can I get a refund after topping up?

A: Refunds are handled uniformly by the platform, and the organization cannot refund on its own. For refunds, please contact platform customer service and provide the order number.

Q: How can I let sub-users use the topped-up balance?

A: The organization balance pool is the only source of funds. You do not need to "divide" the balance among sub-users; instead, you set a quota cap (capped quota) for each sub-user. When a sub-user consumes, the amount actually deducted still comes from the organization balance pool. For details, see Balance Management and Quota Allocation.

Q: Can sub-users see the top-up entry?

A: No. Redeem, Balance Management, and the like are all organization-exclusive entries. Sub-users have only 5 menu items: Dashboard, API Keys, Default Model Configuration, Usage Records, and Profile.

Notes

  • Online recharge and redemption codes are two independent methods; the credited balance from both enters the same organization balance pool
  • Orders have a timeout mechanism, so please complete payment as soon as possible; timed-out orders require a new order to be placed, and no duplicate charges will occur
  • The successfully topped-up balance is managed uniformly by the organization; please use it reasonably in conjunction with sub-user quota planning
  • Please keep your redemption codes safe to avoid leakage and redemption by others
  • For large top-ups or financial reconciliation, it is recommended to download and retain receipts from "Balance Management"; see Invoices and Receipts
